故事描述一美国军舰在运送物品的途中遭德国潜艇的攻击，舰队全体官兵纷纷奋勇应战，于是展开一场凶斗。Speedy" loses his job as a soda-jerk, then spends the day with his girl at Coney Island. He then becomes a cab driver and delivers Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he stays to see the game.
