第一季末尾，Sam见到了33年前的父亲，企图通过挽留父亲让一切恢复正常，但结果却让他大失所望。第二季Sam将继续寻找真相，本季结尾也将为Sam的时光之旅作出一个交代，他究竟是昏迷，发疯，还是真的回到了过去？而他与女警Annie Cartwright的感情又将何去何从？。Two young men (Jon Cryer, Rick Stear) who have been friends since early childhood decide to go on a trip to find a third friend (Rafael Baez) who has long since disappeared. Stories they have heard indicate that the friend has been seen in an apparently rambling, incoherent state at Coney Island. Their trip leads them to a number of adventures involving the otherworld-like life...。
