本剧讲述了村姑斯特莎·捷尔诺娃（Екатерина Астахова饰）跌宕起伏的情感故事。斯特莎的父母在她七岁时为保护教堂的圣像画去世，还背上了盗窃的恶名。与爷爷相依为命的她一心想洗清父母的冤屈，并前往大城市学习绘画。来到小村进行教堂修缮的莫斯科画家鲍里斯（Иван Стебунов饰）给予她久违的希望，而青梅竹马的旧日伙伴叶戈尔（Александр Давыдов饰）于此时复员回乡，急切地想与她成婚。斯特莎陷入一个又一个两难境地与圈套，不惜一切代价捍卫自己的幸福......。Guy is an experienced British fighter pilot who is in command of Britain's first manned mission to space. He has trained for this for three years at the height of the Cold War and now he is alone in space with a malfunctioning capsule. He has limited contact with the UK, some unusual communication with the US and some unorthodox communication with Tyuratam deep in Soviet Russia...。
