原作江户川乱步《盲兽》。外籍佣兵山姆法兰西带领的游击队被韦尔击败成为俘掳，虽然两人是敌对的但是韦尔非常钦佩山姆法兰西，且希望法兰西能一起替政府工作，但政府却要法兰西从事颠覆工作，遭法兰西拒绝，从此法兰西及韦尔开始展开有趣及惊险的逃亡之旅……。British Army radiation drills at a remote Scottish base attract a subterranean, radioactive entity of unknown nature that vanishes, leaving two severely radiation-burned soldiers... and a "bottomless" crack in the earth. Others who meet the thing in the night suffer likewise, and with increasing severity| it seems to be able to "absorb" radiation from any source, growing bigger...。
