With his shaved head marked by a tattoo from his favorite film, 1951’s A Plac...。抗日战争时期，我晋察冀军区收养了两个日侨遗孤，聂司令员（任广智 饰）对她们关怀备至。肖刚（卢志啟 饰）和小马（邢龙 饰）奉命送她们到司令部所在地石井村，不料该村己被敌人洗劫，肖刚只好将她们送到不远处自已家里。妻子秀云（程安娜 饰）不理解丈夫为什么把日本人的孩子带回家，肖刚只好按聂司令的意思来做妻子的工作。善良的秀云顺从了丈夫，她放下嗷嗷待哺的亲生女，来喂养敌国的孤儿。为给生病的孤女采药，肖刚被搜山的日军少尉（剑飞 饰）抓获，幸而被小马带民兵将其救出。回到村中，满目狼籍，敌人已扫荡过了。四十年后，当中国报纸刊登文章找寻当年的日本孤女时，远在日本现已做母亲的孤女激动万分......。
