After identifying the source of the papyrus theft, he packs and l...。劇情重點講述回到精神病院的Norman Bates又給放了出來(究竟要放他出來多少次啊！)並跟精神病院女醫生結了婚，兩口子生活美滿，這一天Norman等待妻子下班慶祝他的生日，適逢電台正好播放著一個有關連續殺手及弒母病患的phone-in節目，促發他至電講述自己跟母親的關係，影片回朔到他的少年時期，如何謀殺母親和其情夫，以及如何開始殺害其他人的過程，到後來，他向主持人表白了自己今天想殺掉妻子的想法，因為她有了自己的骨肉，而他卻認定，瘋狂是遺傳的…。
