Graciously shot, the documentary offers a privileged window into their art making, domesticity, frictions...。日儿与母上路寻父，母病重，日儿请大夫时，却遇无恶不作的赤发老魔阻挠，母因此失救致死。日儿被武功高强的老顽童收留，与老顽童的孙女月儿一起习武。日儿武功大进，常想着为母报仇，偷偷与月儿下山，巧遇于大侠被老魔的手下围攻，日儿助于大侠退敌，知悉老魔有一统江湖的野心，将铲除祁家庄，江湖人士皆齐集祁家庄，商讨对付之法，日儿、月儿于是与于大侠同行。祁家庄布下天罗地网等待老魔，气氛凝重。老魔忽然带手下来到，两方人士势不两立，双方皆伤亡惨重，于大侠亦敌不过老魔，身受重伤。最后由日儿、月儿联手苦撑，老顽童后到指点两人，两人终杀了老魔，江湖恢复平静。。
