纪录片《东方新科幻》由总台影视剧纪录片中心、总台四川总站、成都市广播电视台联合摄制。该片从我们对未来的追问与幻想出发，在中国科幻创作者百余年的探索中，引领观众感受充满想象力的未来世界；科幻创作者与科研工作者的互动，让天马行空的思想实验更具现实意义；通过对中国科幻文学、影视、学术等多领域多角度的全景呈现，展现独具东方意蕴的未来故事。。Mike and Danny fly a cropduster, but because of Danny's gambling debts, a local sheriff takes custody of it. Trying to earn money, they hitch-hike to the World's Fair in Seattle and, while Danny tries to earn money playing poker, Mike takes care of a small girl whose father has disappeared. Being a ladies' man, he also finds the time to court a young nurse.。
