Nan-hie and Min-hie have been best friends for years. Despite their different economic status, they share many things in common--including taste in men. Their friendship becomes strained after Min-hie learns that Nan-hie has been sleeping with the former's husband .。影片圍繞高中生紫英（金藝琳飾）與朋友拍攝「通靈視頻」參賽的故事展開。最初計劃虛構通靈過程，但因好奇心嘗試真實降靈術，最終觸發不可控的恐怖事件。敘事采用「實驗-失控-詛咒」的三段式結構，通過廢棄水箱場景的封閉空間營造壓迫感，逐步揭示「破壞規則」的代價。
